LOCATION:

Find the intersection of highways 11 and 130.  Go east on highway 11 for 1.4 
miles and look for road S37-190 (AKA Park Road) on the right side.  Turn right 
and go south for 0.8 miles, until you come to Shallow Ford road - there is a 
large sign saying Fall Creek Landing at the intersection.  Turn left and go east 
for 0.4 miles.  Church cemetery is located on the right side of road.


HISTORY:
--------
The white wooden-frame church was built in the late 1930's and was called the 
Fall Creek 7th Day Adventist Church.  In the early 1940's, the church was called 
The Davidian 7th Day Adventist Church.

Approximately 10 graves were relocated from the original, now flooded over by 
Lake Jocassee, Mount Carmel Baptist Church #1 Cemetery.  The new church location 
is in the Devil's Fork State Park and also contains original location relocated 
graves.
